With us beginning the new year, couples are beginning the process of planning their weddings in 2015 with destination weddings once again being a very popular choice. For me personally, I think 2015 will be a big year for destination weddings with more and more couples deciding to have one as there are so many great packages available for them to chose from as well as the economy slowly getting better. The one problem that some couples might have when planning their big days is deciding on a destination as there are so many trying to attract couples. For 2015, these are some of the destinations that I think will be the most popular for couples.
One of the more popular themes for destinations weddings is to have one on a beach. This past year I must of attended at least 6 beach weddings alone. If you are considering a wedding on a beach, one destination that should be considered is Puerto Vallarta. Located in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta is a popular spot for those looking to have a beach vacation and has also become very popular spot for weddings over the past year. In Puerto Vallarta you can find some amazing beaches where you can have your wedding ceremony as well as great resorts. This past year I attended a wedding in Puerto Vallarta and must admit that the resort they had their wedding at really went above and beyond for the couple. If you decide to have your wedding here, I recommend figuring out which wedding package is right for you as there are a lot to chose from.
If Mexico doesn’t seem like the right spot for your big day, another beach destination to consider is Punta Cana. Located in the Caribbean, Punta Cana is part of the Dominican Republic and is home to some of the best resorts in the areas. The great thing about Punta Cana is the fact that it is really easy to get to if you live on the East Coast. Another thing that you will love about having your wedding here is how inexpensive it is. Punta Cana offers some really great all inclusive packages that will not only help you save but also help your guests save. Also in Punta Cana there are a lot of different options for where you can have your ceremony from the beach, to an old historic church or maybe having a resort wedding.
A third destination that you could consider for your destination wedding is Bora Bora. When it comes to getting to Bora Bora, it isn’t cheap but once you get there you have the chance to have your wedding in one of the most beautiful places in the world. While Bora Bora may not be as popular as some of the other destinations out, I’m predicting that it will see more couples in 2015 having their weddings here as it is such a magical place.
In 2015 we should see a lot more destination weddings being planned so if you have friends that are currently engaged, I would recommend to start saving now as there is a good chance they will be planning a wedding like this.
